A lot has changed since the founding of the American Legion at the caucus in Paris, France in 1919! Veterans and businesses are now able to connect directly online and build networks of support for our Veteran colleagues.
In support of that mission, Paris Post 1 has compiled a list organizations and businesses below that are offering Veterans, Veteran Spouses (and sometimes Veteran's children) FREE training in fields as varied as Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity to Sales and Truck Driving.
No matter what the future holds for Veterans, Paris Post 1 is here to support them as they turn the page and make a happy and successful future for themselves and their families.
1. Artificial Intelligence training (including an apprenticeship, including degrees) - FREE
2. Cybersecurity training (including an apprenticeship, including degrees) - FREE
3. Scholarships, Transition and Job Support - to guide you through transitioning out of the military, show you many scholarships available for veterans outside of their GI Bill and help finding work in a variety of job fields - FREE
4. Logistics and Transportation - training (including an apprenticeship, including degrees) - FREE
5. MedTechVets Academy - 6-week long training program for tranisitioning to the medical device, biotech and life science industries - FREE
6. Training grants - for any kind of training after separating from the military - FREE and with priority for Veterans
7. French language courses - FREE and paid
8. Veteran Online communities - a great way to build your network and FREE with organizations like Deloite, IBM, Salesforce and other fortune 500s.
9. Entrepreneur Training and Communities - this includes places to network, find funding and gather information from like-minded entreprenuers to help you with your future or ongoing business questions and issues - for FREE
